After three years of substantial growth, Creek Systems is recognized once again as a leader in the American marketplace. In an economic environment that has been extremely sluggish for several years, the median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains at an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year. To qualify for consideration and possible inclusion in the 2011 Inc. 500|5000, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007 and be US-based privately held for profit enterprises. Qualifying entrant companies are then ranked according to the percentage of revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010.
The top 5000 list represents the best of American entrepreneurship, setting the standard for independent achievement in the US market. The year’s honorees, plus alumni previously recognized, are invited to attend the 2011 Inc. 500|5000 Conference & Awards Ceremony on September 22–24, 2011, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
