Unlike the American Business Awards, where multiple levels of winners are chosen, the International Business Awards names only one winner and one honoree per category.After months of preliminary judging of companies around the globe, followed by two weeks of final judging, the final results of the 2011 IBA Awards are announced. The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working people worldwide. The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business. Nicknamed the Stevie® for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented to honorees at a gala event on Tuesday, 11 October in the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Recipients of International Stevie Award trophies were selected from thousands of nominations received from organizations in more than 40 nations.
It is indeed an incredible honor to achieve this prestigious Business Awards within the international business community. Although Creek Systems was a previous winner of a Stevie for the American Business Awards 2010 Best Corporate Identity and Branding Design, this is their initial entry on the international platform. The second place finish is laudable when consideration is given to the thousands of entry nominations competing for recognition as the best in their respective fields. The category winner, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, is located in the city where the 2011 International Business Awards Banquet will be held.
